Jim Laski is a Mechanical Engineer with significant experience in product development and design within the audio and industrial sectors. At Paratech Inc. since May 2013, Jim has been responsible for the complete development of new products, encompassing component design, manufacturability, validation testing, and documentation. Previously, at Fender Musical Instruments from May 2009 to May 2013, Jim served as the mechanical engineering lead for various projects involving guitar and bass amplifiers, collaborating closely with the Ensenada, Mexico facility to enhance cabinet quality. Jim's career also includes a role as a Mechanical Designer/Engineer within the Electronics R&D department at Fender, focusing on supporting electrical engineers in designing mechanical features for amplifiers. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering/Mechanical Technology/Technician from Purdue University Northwest and an Associate’s Degree in Mechanical Design from Prairie State College.
