Gene Brukson is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in platform engineering and IT operations. Currently serving as VP of Platform Engineering at Paramount Commerce since February 2021, Gene previously held the role of Director of Technology at Canadian Black Book from July 2018 to February 2021. Prior to that, Gene managed web development and DevOps at St. Joseph Communications from June 2013 to June 2018, demonstrating a deep understanding of web application architecture and agile development methodologies. Gene's career also includes leadership positions at TC Media and a foundational role as a web developer at The Brand Factory. Gene holds a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Ryerson University, earned between 2000 and 2004.
