Penni James is the Founder of Compliance & Risk ExecutiveWomen (CREW) and has extensive experience in compliance and risk management, holding multiple committee positions across various financial institutions. Currently, Penni serves as a Compliance Committee Member at Schroders and Perpetual Limited, and previously held roles such as Compliance Committee Chair at Pendal Fund Services Limited and State Street Global Advisors. Additionally, Penni has contributed to the compliance efforts at Platinum Asset Management Limited, Ausbil Investment Management Limited, and Schroders RF Limited. Penni is recognized as a Fellow of the Australian Institute of Company Directors and has qualifications from Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand, the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, and earned degrees from the University of Cape Town and the University of the Witwatersrand.
