Su Yan is a Scientist II at Parabilis Medicines since July 2022, with a focus on pharmaceutical development. Previous experience includes serving as a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where Su Yan engaged in developing SF-001, a hybrid Amphotericin B anti-fungal agent for life-threatening fungal infections. During tenure as a Graduate Research Assistant at Stony Brook University, Su Yan conducted significant research on α-Truxillic acid monoesters, leading to a patent and FDA clearance for IND, as well as work on third-generation taxoids as anticancer agents. Earlier, Su Yan contributed to palladium-catalyzed reactions as an Undergraduate Research Assistant at Sichuan University. Su Yan holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Stony Brook University and a B.S. in Chemistry from Sichuan University.
