Michael Preiss, P.E. is an accomplished engineering professional with extensive experience in land development and corporate operations. Currently serving as the Executive Vice President of Operations at Pape-Dawson Engineers since 2009, Michael oversees key corporate functions such as Human Resources and Budgeting while previously leading the Greater Houston office and significantly expanding its services in the region. Prior roles include President of Fort Bend County MUD 159, Community Development Manager at Land Tejas Companies, and Manager of Due Diligence at KB Home, where Michael successfully executed strategic initiatives for land acquisition and development. Michael began their career as a Project Manager at AECOM, gaining recognition for their management of key infrastructure projects. A graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering, Michael has established a reputation for effective leadership and impactful contributions throughout their career.
