Scott Stout has over 20 years of experience in the technology field. Scott began their career in 1996 as a Network Administrator for Flexnet. In 1997, they moved to Wang as a Tier 3 Network Support. Scott then joined Genesis Telecom in 1998 as a Network Administrator. In 1999, Scott began working for both Enron and Micros. At Enron, they were a Security Specialist and at Micros they were a SCO UNIX Implementation Specialist. In 2001, they joined Reliant Energy as a Security Engineer. Scott then moved to Dyonyx INC. in 2002 as a Sr Security Engineer. Scott joined Fullscreen in 2016 as a Lead Security Engineer and later became a Sr Security Engineer. In 2021, they began working at Papaya as a Principal Security Engineer.

Scott Stout attended Vanderbilt University from 1993 to 1995, where they studied English, Math, and Physics. In 2017, they obtained the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate (SAA) certification from Amazon. In 2018, they obtained the AWS Certified Developer - Associate (DVA) certification from Amazon.
