Lauren Landfield, CFA is the founder & CEO of Panthera Advisers. Lauren’s background is uniquely suited for Panthera’s services. He has over 20 years of investment & financial experience (spanning institutional investing, investment banking, equity research & corporate finance) & has completed over 50 deals including VC investments, M&A, derivatives, & debt & equity offerings. Prior to Panthera, Lauren spent seven years at Zazove Associates, a multi-strategy convert manager where he focused on TMT & consumer-related sectors & was promoted to partner. Prior to the buy-side, at Rovi Corporation (d/b/a TiVo), he led financings & acquisitions as a top lieutenant to the CFO & completed over 20 transactions including over $1.5B of derivatives, $2B of debt financings, & over $3.5B in acquisitions, e.g., the $2B LBO of Gemstar TV-Guide. His experience & core skills include identifying investment & acquisition opportunities, financial analysis/valuation across the capital structure (debt, equity, & derivatives), structuring & negotiating deals, presenting to Boards, meeting with investors & fund raising.
