David Hernandez has a long history of work experience in the technology field. David began their career in 1996 as an Operations Field Supervisor for Sprint (NOCUTS). In 1998, they became a Network Administrator for Good News Fellowship Church, where they were responsible for the overall running and maintenance of the organization's network and operating system. In 2004, they joined Tech Skills as a Lead Technical Instructor and Network Administrator, where they were responsible for the up keep and maintenance of employee and student networks. In 2006, they moved to Trifecta Communications as a Systems Engineer, where they managed Customer Service and Installation Technicians. In 2008, they joined Signet Technology as a Network Engineer and Network Administrator, where they worked on major MPLS networks for a multisite organization. In 2010, they became the Director of Information Technology for Kramer Healthcare Technologies, where they were tasked with planning and implementation of additions, deletions and major modifications to the supporting regional infrastructure. In 2011, they joined Lee Hecht Harrison as a Network Manager, where they recommended preventive, mitigating, and compensating controls to ensure the appropriate level of protection and adherence to the goals of the overall information security strategy. Finally, in 2015 they joined PanTerra Networks as a Sales Engineer.
David Hernandez's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Regis University (2005-2006), a Certified Corrections Officer from Polk State College (1989-1990), a Certified Law Enforcement from South Florida Community College (1989-1990), a Bachelor's from The City University of New York (1984-1985), and a Certified Law Enforcement from John Jay College (1984-1985). Additionally, they obtained a CCDA certification in January 2006 and a CCNA certification through self-study.
