Gregory Young started their work experience in 2008 as a Committee Chair for the American Cancer Society's Relay For Life. In 2009, they worked as a Technical Intern at S.S. Papadopulos and Associates and as a Teaching Assistant at Brown University. In 2011, they joined Microsoft as a Software Development Engineer until 2013. Gregory then moved to Panopto as a Software Development Engineer, where their current role is ongoing.

Gregory Young attended Brown University from 2007 to 2011, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Mathematics and Computer Science. In September 2021, they also obtained a certification in React Hooks from LinkedIn.
