Ashok Goonesekere serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director across multiple organizations, including Melstacorp PLC, Distilleries Company of Sri Lanka PLC, PMF Finance PLC, and Pan Asia Banking Corporation PLC since 2024. Previously, Ashok held significant roles such as Senior Independent Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Board Audit and Related Party Transactions at HNB Assurance PLC, and was a Director at the Sri Lanka Accounting and Auditing Standards Monitoring Board, as well as Acuity Partners Group. Ashok also contributed to Acuity Securities Ltd and Acuity Stock Brokers Ltd as a Director and Chair of the Board Risk Committee. Prior experience includes a senior leadership role in Integrated Risk Management and as Chief Risk Officer at DFCC Bank PLC, along with a position as Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer. Ashok holds an FCA and an MBA from Sri Jayawardenapura University, and educational background includes studies at Richmond College Galle and Ananda College Colombo.
