Vanesa Castro is a seasoned professional in safety leadership and project management with extensive experience in the mining and logistics sectors. Currently serving as a Senior Safety Leader and Project Manager at Pan American Silver Corp. since February 2023, Vanesa has previously held significant roles, including Senior Safety Engineer at Impala Terminals and Specialist in QHSE at DINET. Vanesa's career began at Firth Industries and includes positions with notable companies such as Minera Chinalco Perú S.A. and Compañía de Minas Buenaventura, demonstrating a strong focus on occupational safety and health. Vanesa holds a Master's degree in Mining Safety and Health from the National University of Engineering and a degree in Mining Engineering from the Universidad Nacional de Trujillo.
