Hector Gabriel Ortiz has extensive experience in the mining and processing industry, currently serving as the Superintendente de Operaciones Planta at Pan American Silver Corp. since July 2023. Previously, Hector held the position of Jefe de planta at Yamana Gold Inc. from August 2019 to September 2023 and worked as a supervisor de turno at MDN Minera Don Nicolas from January 2017 to July 2019. Earlier roles include Jefe de turno at Troy Resources NL and various supervisory positions at Goldcorp Inc. and Minera Santa Cruz SA, where responsibilities encompassed processes such as crushing, milling, lixiviation, and filtration. Educational qualifications include a Diplomado Internacional en Metalurgia from CAMIPER and a degree in Mineralurgy from UNCA, along with technical training in mineralurgy from Liceo B2 "Diego de Almagro" in Chile.
