Jeff Griffith attended college in Chico, California where he completed his course work for a Paramedic license and a degree in Social and Behavioral Science. He completed the Ione Fire Academy and has Fire Officer Qualifications.
He is a twenty-year veteran and second generation Firefighter. He started out in Northern California as a seasonal Firefighter in Shasta County where his father spent his career in the Fire Service. As he promoted up through the ranks, Jeff has worked in San Mateo, San Diego, and Riverside Counties for the State of California.
He currently holds the position of Fire Captain in Riverside County.
As a Paramedic, Jeff has over a decade of experience working closely with health care teams at both Palomar Health facilities. He regularly attends local advisory councils where regional health care policies are shaped.
He is married to his wife, Carmen, who works as a School Manager for Escondido Union School District and has two beautiful daughters attending Escondido High School.
Jeff has served on the Board of Directors since 2012.
