Suneetha Sarala is an experienced engineering leader with a robust background in software development and management. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering for the Strata Data Lake and Threat Data Platform at Palo Alto Networks since July 2022, Suneetha oversees the development of data pipelines for the Firewall/Cortex Data Lake, which supports various AIOps and Visibility offerings. Prior to this role, Suneetha held managerial positions at Cisco, where responsibilities included leading software development for Distributed Systems Clustering and managing the NMS for Cisco's SD-WAN solution. Suneetha's experience also includes a significant tenure at Ruckus Networks, where oversight of a $150M revenue-generating component and team leadership were key duties. Earlier roles at Brocade and Cisco included managing worldwide software engineering support for Data Center products and contributing to pioneering router technologies. Suneetha holds a B.Tech in Electronics and Telecommunications from the College of Engineering Trivandrum.
