Santiago Alvarez has extensive work experience in the creative field. Santiago started their career as a Redactor Creativo at DDB Uruguay in 1999 and then moved to DDB Costa Rica as a Director creativo in 2001. From 2004 to 2005, they served as the Director General Creativo at DDB Guate. Santiago then joined DDB Chile and worked as a Director creativo responsible for ATL, BTL, Advertainment, Digital, and Endomarketing. Santiago was also a part of the creative team for Exxon Mobil and Director Creativo for Nokia in Chile, Argentina, Perú, and Ecuador during their time at DDB Chile. In 2009, they became the CEO and Socio & Director General Creativo at FiRe Advertainment Chile, where they developed content for various brands. Santiago then held the role of VP REGIONAL CRETIVO at Wikot from 2012 to 2015. Santiago worked as the VP CREATIVO HAVAS MEDIA at Havas Tribu from 2016 to 2017. And finally, they currently serve as the Regional CCO (Chief Creative Officer) at PALM ERA since 2018.
Santiago Alvarez attended Universidad ORT Uruguay from 1998 to 2000, where they earned a degree in Publicidad as an Analista en Publicidad. In 1999, they also studied Marketing Empresarial at Cámara de Industria Española. In 2001, Santiago attended DDB to pursue a degree in SPRINGBOARD ROI, with a focus on Estrategia. The end year for their education at DDB is unknown.
