Bill Rivers has extensive experience in writing and communications, currently serving as a Senior Writer at BP since August 2019. Prior roles include Speechwriter for the United States Department of Defense, Editor and Speechwriter for the United States Senate, and Communications & Advancement Fellow at the Fels Institute of Government, University of Pennsylvania. Bill Rivers has also held positions as Deputy Press Secretary and Press Assistant in the U.S. Senate, and as Executive Director for A Rose And A Prayer Education Group, where significant achievements included managing a $100,000 budget and forming a grassroots coalition. Additional roles include Field Director for Water Is Life-Kenya and Executive Director for the Republican Party of Delaware, highlighting a strong background in nonprofit management and political communications. Bill Rivers holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and History from the University of Delaware.
