Alisa Augenstein is a Senior Architectural Historian at The Public Archaeology Laboratory, Inc. since December 2018, bringing extensive experience in historical documentation, architectural survey, and preservation planning. Previous roles include Senior Preservation Planner at VHB from November 2015 to November 2018, and Preservation Planner at Epsilon Associates from February 2012 to November 2015. Alisa also served as an Architectural Historian at Gray & Pape, Inc. from October 2008 to February 2012, and worked as a Consultant for the Providence Revolving Fund between April 2010 and May 2011. Alisa's early experience includes an internship with the Providence Preservation Society in 2006. Alisa earned a Master's degree in History, Archaeology, and Architecture from the University of Rhode Island, completed in 2008.
