Liel Villa is an experienced professional in research and technology with a strong background in data science and analytics. Currently serving as Research Director at Pagaya since March 2020, Liel has also held roles including Director of Product and Director, Research Group Lead. Prior to Pagaya, Liel co-founded and served as CTO at PredictiveBid from July 2015 to January 2020 and co-founded Prycto as CSO from November 2017 to December 2019. Liel was the Head of Data Science at Jellyfish from July 2013 to May 2015 and worked as a consultant in machine learning and data science from October 2012 to July 2013. Liel's career began in the Israeli Air Force as an Operation Research Senior Analyst from December 2006 to October 2012. Liel holds an MSc in Statistics from Tel Aviv University and a BSc in Physics and Mathematics from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
