Md Tariqul Islam Khan is a seasoned banking professional with extensive experience in credit and asset management. Currently serving as the Head of Recovery Relationship Management Unit under the Special Asset Management Division at National Bank Limited since August 2024, Tariqul also holds the position of Head of Execution Remedial Asset Management Division at Padma Bank Limited since December 2019. Prior to these roles, Tariqul was the Head of Gulshan Branch and Head of Credit at National Bank of Pakistan, with prior experience as Assistant Vice President in Credit Risk Management at Modhumoti Bank Limited, and Senior Manager in Credit Risk Management at Bank Alfalah Limited. Tariqul's career began at Southeast Bank Limited as an Executive Officer in the Credit Division. Tariqul holds multiple degrees, including a Masters of Bank Management from the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management, an MBA in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Dhaka, and a Bachelor's degree in Commerce from the same university, alongside earlier educational qualifications in commerce and science.
