Linda Brindeau is an experienced educator and coach with a strong background in French and Francophone studies. Currently serving as the Assistant Cross Country and Track Coach and a Middle & Upper School French Teacher at The Packer Collegiate Institute since August 2018, Linda co-leads athletic practices and develops curriculum based on the ACTFL framework for middle school, while also focusing on advanced topics for upper school students. Prior to this, Linda held various academic positions at Dickinson College from July 2011 to June 2018, including Assistant Professor, Academic Advisor, and Visiting International Scholar, where responsibilities included teaching intensive French courses, guiding honor theses, and revising advising practices. Linda earned a Doctor of Philosophy in French and Francophone Studies from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and a Master’s degree in Comparative Literature from the University of Arkansas.
