Isaac Oakeson, PE, is an experienced engineering professional with a robust career in the civil and transmission engineering sectors. Currently serving as Operations Manager at PacifiCorp since May 2023, Isaac leads the RMP drone program and manages transmission operations reviews and lineman training, while effectively navigating union labor agreements. Isaac founded CivilEngineeringAcademy.com in January 2015 to support civil engineers in achieving licensure. Previously, Isaac held positions including Lead/Sr Transmission Engineer at Qualus, where new QA/QC processes were developed, and Sr. Transmission Engineer at Ulteig, managing transmission projects with innovative solutions. Over a combined tenure at PacifiCorp, Isaac served as Sr. Project Manager, Supervisor in Engineering/Environmental, and Career Transmission Engineer, addressing high-voltage systems and regulatory compliance. Early career experience included internships at Franson Civil Engineers and PacifiCorp Environmental Remediation Company. Isaac holds a Master’s degree in Engineering from the University of Arkansas and a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from the University of Utah.
