Sohila Samuel

Software Engineer at Pacific Solutions

Sohila Samuel is a software engineer at Pacific Solutions. Sohila has also worked as a coding instructor and action researcher at 9 Dots Community Learning Center, a circulation clerk at Biola University Library, and a communication intern at The Evangelical Alliance Mission | TEAM.

Sohila has always been interested in computers and technology. Sohila started coding when they were just a teenager and fell in love with it immediately. After completing their undergraduate degree in computer science, they decided to pursue a career in software engineering.

Sohila is passionate about using their skills to help others. That’s why they became a coding instructor at 9 Dots Community Learning Center. Sohila loved teaching students from under-served communities and helping them develop their coding skills. Sohila also assisted in code-related research funded by the National Science Foundation.

After a few years of working in the library, Sohila decided to return to their first love – coding. Sohila is now a software engineer at Pacific Solutions, where they use their skills to develop new software applications.

Sohila is also passionate about video production. During their time as a communication intern at The Evangelical Alliance Mission | TEAM, they produced short movies and video-clips for the promotion of the company internationally.

Sohila is a talented and experienced software engineer with a passion for helping others. Sohila is committed to using their skills to make a difference in the world.

Sohila Samuel has a Bachelors of Science in Computer Science from Biola University and a GED from Woodstock School.
