Mark Lann, MPA, currently serves as Operations Manager at Pacific Security, leading commercial and industrial security efforts in Whatcom, Skagit, and Island counties. Mark has extensive experience in public service, including roles as a Commissioner and Past Board President for both Whatcom County Fire District 4 and Water District 7, where responsibilities included policy formulation, budget planning, and operational oversight. As a small forest landowner since 1998, Mark practices sustainable forest management. Previous positions include Revenue Agent in the Compliance Division at the Washington State Department of Revenue and various roles at Whatcom Community College, including Criminal Law Instructor and Student Conduct Officer. Mark’s law enforcement background includes serving as a Deputy Sheriff with the Whatcom County Sheriff's Office. Educational achievements include a Master's degree in Public Administration from Liberty University and a Bachelor's degree in Public Administration from Western Washington University.
