Maria Gallo retired in 2011 after a career of over 30 years in financial services. She held senior management positions in the areas of credit policy and administration with a specialty in small business banking. In addition, she was a manager in the Corporate Social Responsibility Group addressing employee community engagement and corporate philanthropy as well as managing Union Bank’s ethnic marketing group. Maria received her Master in Business Administration from the University of Southern California and a Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business Management from California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo. Maria’s past San Francisco Bay Area community service includes board involvement with the Chicana/Latina Foundation, The Unity Council, Latino Community Foundation, East Bay Community Foundation and the California Economic Development Lending Initiative. Her passion for justice and equity fuel her volunteer service.
