Lynda Watson is an accomplished professional in operational risk management with extensive experience across multiple prestigious firms. Currently serving as Director and Operational Risk Manager at Pacific Life Re since October 2018, Lynda previously held the position of Head of Operational Risk at Legal & General, directly reporting to the Chief Risk Officer. Lynda's career at Munich Re included roles such as Risk Manager for Great Lakes Reinsurance, where Lynda established a Solvency II compliant Risk Management Function, as well as various managerial positions focusing on operations and risk management within the UK Life Branch. Lynda holds a Fellowship from the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries and is trained in Six Sigma methodologies, complemented by a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Johannesburg.
