Fern Uennatornwaranggoon is currently serving as the Climate Campaign Director for Ports at Pacific Environment since February 2024. Previously, at the Environmental Defense Fund from October 2016 to February 2024, Fern co-chaired the Environmental Justice Council, pioneering the integration of equity and justice into the organization’s initiatives, while also working as the Air Quality Policy Manager focusing on pollutant reduction in the Bay Area. In earlier roles, Fern supported transportation policy in the City of Oakland and contributed to the Asian Cities Climate Change Resilience Network at The Rockefeller Foundation. Educational qualifications include a Master of City Planning from UC Berkeley and an MPhil from the University of Cambridge, complemented by a BA in Philosophy, Politics, and Economics from the University of Oxford.
