Dr. Ilisapeci Kubuabola is a seasoned public health professional with extensive experience in non-communicable disease (NCD) management and epidemiology. Currently serving as the NCD Adviser for Monitoring, Surveillance & Evaluation at Pacific Community-SPC since January 2019, Dr. Kubuabola is also the Founder and Director of Body Fit & Fab and a member of the Board of Directors at The Hot Bread Kitchen. Previously, a Director at the Pacific Research Centre for the Prevention and Control of NCDs and a faculty member at the College of Medicine, Nursing and Health Sciences from 2010 to 2019, Dr. Kubuabola has held multiple roles, including Research Fellow and Head of School of Public Health & Primary Care. Academic credentials include advanced degrees in Applied Epidemiology and Medicine from The Australian National University and Fiji School of Medicine, as well as undergraduate studies in Biochemistry from the University of Otago.
