Mark Lakata is a Senior Staff Engineer at Pacific Biosciences, specializing in R&D in Primary Analysis since February 2014. In addition to this role, Mark is the Founder and Consultant at Qromodyn Corp, providing comprehensive software service consultation and expertise in hardware/software design, firmware development, and end-user applications since January 2004. Previous experience includes consulting at ReadMe Systems Inc, focusing on hardware platform development for Bluetooth and WiFi technologies, and a Senior Firmware Engineer position at Gener8, Inc. Mark also worked at MIPS Technologies as a Staff Engineer, where significant contributions included launching the first MIPS DSP API and physical design verification.
