Jean-Luc Morano is a Senior UI/UX Software Engineer at PacBio since March 2022, focusing on the design and implementation of user interfaces for new instruments and refactoring UX for former Omniome products. Prior experience includes roles as a Senior Software Engineer at Abbott, where responsibilities involved the development of a blood screening instrument simulator, and at NeuroPace, where an application for system updates was designed and implemented. Morano has also contributed to the design of operating room software at STERIS Corporation and developed programming applications for pacemakers at LivaNova. With extensive expertise in GUI across various companies, including BD Biosciences and Vysis Inc., Morano possesses a strong background in software development complemented by a Bachelor of Science Equivalency in Computer Information Systems from Utah State University.
