Joachim Hackmann has a diverse work experience spanning over three decades. Joachim began their career in 1991 as a Software Developer at Ingenieurbüro Dyck. From there, they worked as a Trainee at PC Woche Publikationen GmbH and then joined Computerwoche Verlag GmbH as an Editor and later on as a Trainee. In 2001, Joachim joined IDG Business Media as a Senior Editor for Computerwoche, eventually taking on the role of Chief Reporter for Computerwoche Online and Leader of the editorial team for IT-Management and Software & Infrastructure. In 2015, Joachim moved on to PAC, where they held the positions of Principal Consultant and most recently, Vice President Business Applications and related Services.
Joachim Hackmann earned their Dipl-Ing. degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from the University of Applied Sciences Hannover, where they studied from 1987 to 1991.
