Alya W. has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Their most recent role is as the Head of People, Culture, and Communications at Blue Ribbon Partners since June 2022. Prior to that, they held various positions at Pabst Brewing Company, including Head of Communications and Culture, Senior Director of Communications and Philanthropy, Director of PR and Corporate Communications, and Interim Head of People and Culture. From 2008 to 2014, Alya worked at Great American Brewing Company as the Director of Business Development. Alya also served as an Assistant Director at NYU Robert F. Wagner Graduate School of Public Service from 2007 to 2008 and as the Director of Development and New Programs at the Federation of Jewish Communities of the CIS from 2004 to 2007. Alya's early career includes a role as a Project Associate at Schall & Russo Planning Works from 2003 to 2004.

Alya W. received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Italian and Art History from Barnard College, Columbia University, from 1999 to 2003. Alya further pursued their education and obtained a Master of Public Administration degree in Non Profit Management from NYU Wagner Graduate School of Public Service, from 2007 to 2010.
