João Ferreira has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. João began their career in 2014 as an Accountant at Águas do Porto EM, where they worked until 2016. In 2019, João joined Bitfinex, a cryptocurrency exchange, and served in various roles including Trading and Market operations - Customer Support, Client Relations, and Risk Management. João contributed to Bitfinex until 2021. Currently, João works at P2P Validator as the Head of Customer and Community Support, a position they have held since May 2021.

João Ferreira obtained a Master's degree in Accounting and Finance from the Instituto Superior de Contabilidade e Administração do Porto in 2019. Prior to this, they pursued studies in Accounting and Business Management at the same institution, completing their education in 2016.
