Taya Mashburn serves as Associate General Counsel at Pvolve, providing in-house legal support and guidance since May 2023. Prior to this, Taya held the position of Legal Consultant at CARE, delivering legal counsel in the preventive health and wellness sector for a Swiss start-up from May 2023 to May 2024. Taya also worked at Sameday Health as Deputy General Counsel and Associate General Counsel, overseeing operational wind-down processes and advising on regulatory matters until May 2023. At SmileDirectClub, from January 2019 to July 2022, Taya was involved in regulatory and compliance issues, supporting domestic and international business operations. Taya’s earlier roles include Counsel at Change Healthcare, focusing on enterprise risk and compliance, and Director of Federal Finance at the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, where policy recommendations on Medicaid financing were provided. Taya’s legal journey began with internships and research assistantships during studies at Suffolk University Law School and Vanderbilt University, culminating in a Juris Doctorate with a focus on health law.
