Ashley Wilson has held several roles in the field of immunology. Ashley began their career in 2017 as a Research Scientist III in CAR T Cell Analytical Development at Seattle Children's. Ashley then moved up to Manager of Correlative Studies Lab, Correlative Lead of the Consortium for Pediatric Cellular Immunotherapy (CPCI), and Director of Therapeutics Correlative Science at Seattle Children's. In 2019, they moved to Fred Hutch as an Affiliate Scientific Investigator. Most recently, in 2023, they were appointed as Head of Immunology at Ozette Technologies.

Ashley Wilson attended the University of Maryland Baltimore County from 2002 to 2006, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Biological Sciences (Major) and Psychology (Minor). Ashley then attended the University of Virginia from 2006 to 2007, earning a Master of Science in Molecular Biology. From 2008 to 2010, they earned a Master of Science in Biological & Physical Sciences from the University of Virginia. Ashley then completed their Doctor of Philosophy in the Department of Microbiology, Immunology & Cancer Biology from the University of Virginia from 2008 to 2015. Finally, from 2015 to 2017, Ashley Wilson was a Postdoctoral Fellow in Tumor Immunology at the University of Virginia.
