Alex Sanchez has extensive experience in the field of controls engineering and project management. Alex started their career at AMI GE in 1997 as a Project Engineer and continued in this role until 2000. Alex then joined BRIC Engineered Systems as a Controls Specialist in 2003 for a year. In 2004, they worked as a Controls Engineer at Tech-Con Automation for a brief period. From 2005 to 2014, they worked at Armstrong Fluid Technology, initially as a Controls Engineer and later as a Senior Controls Engineer/ Team Leader. Currently, they are working at Oxygen8 as a Controls and Commissioning Manager since January 2022.
Alex Sanchez completed their Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) degree in Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering from Tecnológico de Monterrey between 1992 and 1997. Following that, they pursued a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) degree in Computer Systems Networking and Telecommunications from the University of Toronto, which they completed between 2000 and 2002. Alex also obtained a certification as a Professional Engineer from Professional Engineers Ontario in January 2009.
