Reina Bejerano is an experienced educational technology leader currently serving as the Chief Technology Officer for the Oxnard Union High School District since July 2016, where responsibilities include overseeing technology infrastructure, safety, and communication. Prior to this role, Reina worked as a Dean in the Pleasant Valley School District, focusing on school site leadership, staff development in technology, and campus safety. Additionally, Reina held positions within the Simi Valley Unified School District, including Program Coordinator of Technology, where projects centered on instructional technology and the Common Core State Standards, and a Teacher on Special Assignment specializing in educational technology. Reina began a teaching career as a general education classroom teacher for grades K-8. Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Education from Pepperdine University, a Chief Technology Officer certification, and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies with a focus on Sociology and Education from the University of California, Riverside.
