Maggie Pate is an experienced music industry professional currently serving as a Member of the Music Critics Association of North America since March 2024. Pate has been with Oxford University Press as a Business Development Manager for Sheet Music since March 2017 and holds the position of Editor In Chief at CVNC.org: the Cultural Voice of North Carolina since July 2021. Pate's academic background includes a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Pedagogy from East Carolina University, a Master of Science in Education with a focus on Music from Berklee College of Music, and a Certificate of Paralegal Studies from Duke University.
