Damon Zucca is an experienced professional in content development and reference publishing, currently serving as the Director of Content Development and Reference at Oxford University Press since September 2006. In this role, Damon oversees content development teams for academic books and online products, leads a continuous improvement function within the research editorial group, and directs the strategic vision of the Reference unit. Previous positions at Oxford University Press include Publisher of Scholarly and Online Reference and Editorial Director. Damon's career also includes roles at Peter Lang International Academic Publishers as a Senior Editor focusing on media and culture studies, communication, and journalism, and at Routledge as an acquisitions editor in philosophy and classics. Education includes a BA in Philosophy from the University of Pennsylvania awarded in 1997.
