Faisal Rashid is a Principal Consultant in Public Finance at Oxford Policy Management, with a career spanning over 15 years focused on public financial management and governance. Since July 2013, Faisal has contributed to the Sub-National Governance Program of DFID, enhancing government capacity for effective service delivery. Previously, Faisal served as Deputy Secretary (Resources) in the Finance Department of the Government of Punjab, where significant budgetary improvements were achieved, including a substantial increase in tax collection. Additional experience includes roles as a Procurement Specialist with the Asian Development Bank, as well as positions in consulting and program support for decentralization initiatives in Pakistan. Academic credentials include a Master's in Public Policy from the University of Chicago and a Master's in Statistics from the University of the Punjab.
