Lukas Scheibl's work experience includes serving as a Software Build Engineer at Oxford Nanopore Technologies since 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Student Assistant at Kernkompetenzzentrum Finanz- & Informationsmanagement from 2018 to 2022. In this role, they developed multiple use cases focusing on AI, Digital Ledger Technologies, and the IoT. Lukas also worked on smart manufacturing projects, including developing a smart punching machine and a robot-based quality control system. Additionally, they tutored introductory Java for two years and created demonstrators for AI lectures. Lukas also had internship experiences at iC-Haus GmbH and REHAU in the fields of research and development and IT, respectively.

Lukas Scheibl completed their Bachelor's degree in Betriebswirtschaftslehre (Business Administration) from the University of Bayreuth in the years 2017 to 2021. During this time, they also pursued a Bachelor's degree in Engineering Science from the same university, starting in 2018 and continuing without a defined end year.

In 2021, Lukas Scheibl began their Master of Science (MS) in Computer Science at the University of St Andrews, where they are expected to graduate in 2022.
