Maryam Zafar has extensive experience structuring, negotiating, and documenting commercial loans, secured financings and cross-border transactions. Before joining Oxford, she was in private practice, representing commercial clients in connection with regulatory and transactional matters. Previously, she was a research associate at The Advisory Board Company, where she advised clients on healthcare strategies and clinical best practices.

Maryam received a B.A. in Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia and a J.D. from the University of Maryland. She is a member of the Maryland Bar and is admitted to the Virginia Bar as corporate counsel.
