Dr. Samuel Asante-Nnuro has a diverse work experience spanning various academic and leadership roles. Dr. Samuel is currently the Campus Principal for the London and Slough campuses of Oxford Business College, where they also serve as the Head of The University of West London's Programme. In this role, they provide strategic academic oversight and overall leadership for both campuses. Additionally, they are the Chairman of The Commonwealth Legion, a community interest company focused on advocating for the Armed Forces communities. Dr. Samuel is responsible for the organization's strategic direction and engages with external stakeholders.
Prior to this, Dr. Asante-Nnuro held positions at Buckinghamshire New University, where they were a member of the Senior Leadership Team and ERASMUS Academic Director. Dr. Samuel also served as a Senior Lecturer and Programme Director, leading curriculum development and teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses. Dr. Samuel supervised MBA students' dissertations/projects and managed academic partnerships.
Dr. Asante-Nnuro's experience also includes roles as an Academic Partnership Link Tutor at Mont Rose College, Regent College London, and ICON College of Technology & Management. Dr. Samuel worked as an Academic Consultant at GBS and held a position as a External Validation panel member at The Open University and Richmond, The American International University in London. Dr. Samuel has also acted as a Consultee on Commonwealth Veterans and Serving Personnel at the UK Home Office.
Dr. Samuel Asante-Nnuro received a PhD in Business and Management from Queen Mary University of London from 2017 to 2024. Dr. Samuel also obtained a Certified Management and Business Educator (CMBE) certification in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education from the Chartered Association of Business Schools-CABS in 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Chartered Manager and Fellow Award CMgr FCMI in Organizational Leadership and Strategic Management from the Chartered Management Institute in 2014. Dr. Samuel completed a Professional Doctorate CMI in Leadership and Strategy from London South Bank University from 2010 to 2013. Additionally, they hold a Postgraduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education from Queen Mary University of London in 2010, an LLM (Master of Laws) in Oil and Gas Law from Robert Gordon University in 2009, a PgCert in Arbitration from Robert Gordon University in 2009, and a Level 7 (Masters Level) ExDipMgt in Executive Diploma in Management from the Chartered Management Institute in 2009. Dr. Samuel also obtained a PgDip in Accounting and Finance from the University of Wales in 2009, an MA in Management from London South Bank University in 2008, a PgDMS in Management Studies from London South Bank University in 2007, and a GradCert in Management from Robert Gordon University in 2005. Dr. Samuel also completed a Unit and Environmental Health Officer's course from the Defence College of Intelligence (U.K. Ministry of Defence) in 2005. Dr. Samuel received a BA (HONS) in Business Management from Kingston University in 2004 and completed their high school education at Mfantsipim School from 1996 to 1998, where they obtained the S.S.S.C.E / G.C.E. O&A LEVELS qualification in General Arts, with a focus on Economics, Mathematics, and Geography.
