Mark Austin is a distinguished academic at Oxford Brookes University, serving as the Postgraduate Programmes Lead and Principal Lecturer in Construction Science and Technology since March 2013. With a rich background that includes roles as a Senior Lecturer in Construction Technologies and Cultural Studies, Mark has developed an extensive teaching portfolio covering various postgraduate programmes related to construction and urban planning. Areas of expertise include sustainable construction technologies and advanced construction methods, alongside a strong research focus on reducing the carbon footprint of the built environment and the cultural capital of green technologies.
