Geoff McClellan is a seasoned legal professional and governance expert with extensive experience in the nonprofit sector and legal practice. Currently serving as Non-Executive Director and Chair of the Governance Committee for both Oxfam Australia and Lifeline Australia since 2017 and 2011 respectively, Geoff has held various senior roles at Herbert Smith Freehills, including Senior Disputes Partner and Managing Partner for Clients and Sectors. With a career that began in 1979 and includes leadership positions at Freehill Hollingdale and Page as well as Linklaters, Geoff has developed a strong foundation in dispute resolution and mediation, supported by educational credentials from the University of Sydney and the University of Oxford, alongside specialized training in dispute resolution and governance.
