Chris Riley is an experienced professional in economics and public policy, currently serving as an Associate at Oxera Consulting since July 2005. Prior roles include Chief Economist in various Departments related to Environment, Transport, Local Government, and Regions from 1995 to 2005, and Director at HM Treasury from 1969 to 1995. Chris Riley holds a Master of Arts in Mathematics from the University of Oxford (1964-1967) and a Master of Arts in Economics from the University of East Anglia (1967-1969).
