Ben Underwood has worked in the software development and dev ops field since 2013. Ben began by teaching himself full stack software development and dev ops. In 2011, they joined CIPHR as a Client Support Analyst. Ben was later promoted to Service Delivery Analyst, Service Delivery Manager, Customer Experience Manager, and Head of Professional Services. In 2019, they became Co-Founder of firstedit. Currently, they are Lead Software Developer and Full Stack Developer at Oxehealth, where they have been since 2020.

Ben Underwood began their educational journey at John Hampden Grammar School from 1999 to 2004. Ben then attended John Hampden Sixth Form from 2004 to 2006, where they obtained an A Level in Biology, Chemistry and Economics. Finally, they attended the University of Surrey from 2006 to 2008, studying Chemistry.
