Steven Blowers has worked in a variety of roles in the software engineering industry since 2013. In 2013, they worked as a Research Intern at the Advanced Institute of Manufacturing with High-tech Innovations in Taiwan, where they worked with Masters and PhD students to research Graphical User Interfaces and Real-time Operating Systems. In 2014, they began working as a Graduate Software Engineer at LogicNow, where they developed the MaxFocus Remote Management product, gaining experience in the LAMP stack, OOP techniques, and practises. In 2016, they began working as a Software Development Engineer at Findmypast, where they worked on a collaborative family tree project. Finally, in 2018, Steven began working as a Backend Engineer at REKKI, where they worked on feature development and maintenance for the backend of a mobile app, as well as migrating and optimising databases. In 2020, they began working as a Senior Software Engineer at Oxbury Bank Plc.

Steven Blowers attended the University of Essex from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a Bachelor of Engineering (B.Eng.) in Computer Systems Engineering. Prior to that, they attended BHASVIC from 2007 to 2009, where they earned GCE Advanced Level qualifications in Theirtory, ICT, English Language and Literature.
