Alastair Harrison is a seasoned software engineer with a strong background in mobile robotics and autonomous systems. Currently a Senior Software Engineer at Oxbotica since March 2016, Alastair has previously worked as a Senior Research and Development Engineer at DotProduct LLC, where the main focus was on creating a mobile app for real-time 3D point cloud capture using C++ and Java. Alastair's academic credentials include a DPhil in Mobile Robotics and a Master of Engineering from the University of Oxford, where Alastair also served as a Post Doctoral Research Assistant, leading software development efforts for the 'Wildcat' autonomous car project.
