Cristopher Alvarez is a Senior Scientist at Owlstone Medical, engaged in advancing early detection and precision medicine to save lives and reduce healthcare costs since July 2023. Previously, Cristopher served as an Associate Scientist at Cana Technology, Inc., focusing on innovative beverage creation through molecular printing from April 2021 to May 2023. Prior experience includes a position as a Laboratory Analyst at ETS Laboratories, where Cristopher contributed to winemaking science from October 2020 to February 2021, and a Graduate Research Assistant role at the University of Kentucky from July 2018 to December 2020. Cristopher also worked as a Laboratory Technician at the Illinois Sustainable Technology Center, supporting environmental sustainability initiatives from January 2017 to May 2018, and conducted undergraduate research at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from September 2015 to May 2018. Cristopher holds a Master of Science degree from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign.
