Lyman Missimer serves as the Vice President at Owl Ventures since July 2024, focusing on the largest global edtech-focused VC firm with $2.2 billion AUM and over 80 portfolio companies. Prior to this role, Lyman held the position of Director of Corporate Development and International Expansion at Newsela from August 2017 to June 2024, leading the M&A process and international expansion. Lyman's earlier experience includes significant roles at Google from August 2011 to August 2017, where Lyman managed strategic partnerships and business development for Google for Education products and worked with medium-sized school districts to implement Google solutions. Lyman also owned and managed Evolving Vox LLC, successfully increasing capital and customer base. Lyman holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Anthropology from Dartmouth College and has participated in business programs at The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and The University of London, Royal Holloway.
